IUBS is a member of the Executive committee of IYBSSD and one of the members that contributed to the organization of IYBSSD. The closing ceremony of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development will be held at the new Science Gateway building at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, and online.
