Our Partners
The IUBS is a member of the International Science Council (ISC), and contributes its scientific committees and programmes. The Union closely collaborates with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), developing joint programmes for research, training and education.
IUBS maintains formal relations with the World Health Organization (WHO), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the Intergovernmental Science – Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).
The Union also works with the European Commission as well as numerous other organisations, agencies, foundations and international unions that are concerned with research and development related to the biological and life sciences.
