Dr Sara Beery will speak on “Challenges and Opportunities at the Intersection of AI and Biodiversity”
Sara is an MIT Assistant Professor specializing in AI and computer vision for global biodiversity and conservation challenges. She holds a PhD from Caltech and has earned prestigious fellowships from NSF, PIMCO, and Amazon. Sara founded the AI for Conservation community and collaborates with Microsoft AI for Good and Google Research. She is a strong advocate for diversity in STEM, and she’s been recognized for her efforts to increase inclusion. In this webinar, she’ll discuss her innovative research at the intersection of AI and environmental sustainability.
