DESCRIPTION: The International Symposium on Ciliate Biology 2025 (ISCB 2025) \n6 & 7 February 2025\, New Delhi\, India & hybrid \nThe symposium is being organized by Acharya Narendra Dev College\, University of Delhi\, under the aegis of Indian Society of Ciliate Biology. \nThe main aim and objective of an International Symposium on Ciliate Biology is to bring together researchers\, scientists\, and experts from around the world to discuss and advance the understanding of ciliate biology. Specific objectives often include: \n1. Providing a platform for presenting and discussing the latest research findings related to ciliates\, including their diversity\, regeneration\, morphogenesis\, ecology\, phylogeny and cell membrane trafficking etc. \n2. Facilitating networking and collaboration among scientists from different disciplines and regions to promote interdisciplinary research and partnerships. \n3. Promoting interaction of school students and undergraduates with the eminent scientists of this field across the globe. \n4. Highlighting emerging trends\, new technologies\, and current challenges in the field of ciliate biology. \n5. Organizing pre-symposium workshops to train early-career researchers and school students in bioinformatics tools related to ciliate research. \nThis conference is sponsored by IUBS as part of its ongoing support for scientific events organized in IUBS member countries. The sponsorship was granted through IUBS’s regular grant application review process\, which is held every trimester.
